Whew - what a day! We took the boys back to school shopping in Brandon today. What a whirlwind of driving, shopping, and SPENDING!! Now that we have 2 boys heading back next week, the cost of school shopping has obviously doubled. Plus, throw in the goodies that I just HAVE to have for my kindergarten class, and my wallet is feeling very deflated at the end of the day. We had a good time though. It's been too long since we took a day away from home and just spend the day together.
Got to go for supper at Montana's - love it there so much. Good food, and a neat "theme-y" atmosphere.
On a sad note, we wanted to visit a former neighbour who's in the hospital in Brandon, fighting cancer. Unfortunately, Raymond was told that they were only allowing family into his room. That can't be a good sign. So we keep him in our prayers, and I'll send his wife a card next week to let her know we're thinking of them.
